Qigong Method or Movement Method:

Master Desmond teaches the Qigong and Tai Chi method. These practices are derived from the Taoist tradition. It is all about hyper-focus on breathing techniques and/or bodily movements to cultivate and maintain life energy. These are the most philosophical of all meditation/health-giving approaches, deriving most of their patterns from martial arts and meditative healing methods. They focus on moving Chi (life force) through the body using focused breathing, mental techniques, and precise movements. This method is all about the balance and equilibrium of both inner and outer forces.

Four Season's Tai Chi

This Tai Chi set consists of four parts in accordance with the calendar seasons. The forms themselves are based on yoga and animal movements.

Seasons affect the Chi in your organs, the state of your emotional mind and the spirit in different ways. These exercises will help balance the chi as the Yin Yang energies in the body shift over time.

Spring: Changes mean too much Yin or Yang accumulate in the liver. If the prevailing state is Yin, it needs to transform into Yang so that the spirit is raised. Using certain Tai Chi exercises and breathwork will help to maintain a peaceful mind and level out strong emotions.

Summer: The main purpose of the summer Tai Chi form is to keep the heart in an ideal Yin state.

Autumn : The lungs are the first organs to experience the autumnal changes and their condition may already be aggravated by late summer pollen. To maintain the correct Yin state, drink more water and perform the Autumn set as directed.

Winter: The body changes from weak Yin to extreme Yin. Chi deficiency occurs in the kidneys.
